Studying in Durham University is like dreaming.
Awesome City, Awesome People. Awesome Sports, Awesome Opportunities, Awesome Colleges, Awesome Department,in a nutshell Durham is…..Well awesome !
For the study environment . town is small and very nice. I’ll be honest- it’s not a big city. you will not find super clubs and a crazy all-night kind of lifestyle here. if that is not what I like , living in Durham, I didn’t make it to Newcastle very much, mainly because I enjoy staying home . Also,
that said… there is plenty to do- there are many social events organized at college and of course there’s always the bar. each sports team or Art society will generally have a ‘social secretary’ who organizes events as well, and your wide variety of friends (college, course, clubs) will mean there’s always someone who’ll be up for a quick pint. I like walking round the corner and bumping into someone I know, then meet them in next event . Great place though.
